DATES AND SITES:

October 23 and 24, 2007 at site of higher seed
October 26 and 27, 2007 at Charlotte Country Day School

ENTRIES: All tournament representatives must be chosen by Sunday, October 21, 2007.
Any member school must play a minimum of 4 contests on 4 separate dates to be eligible for participation in state play-offs.  Each NCISAA conference with 4 or more participating schools will receive an automatic bid. The at-large teams will be selected by the seeding committee - who will also seed the tournament - on Sunday, October 21, at 1:00 PM at Greensboro Day School  to round out an 8-team tournament.  The All-State Selection Committee will meet prior to the Seeding Committee.

OFFICIALS:
The host team will provide officials from their respective regions. The championship site will provide two officials and an alternate, if available. The officials will be paid from the gate receipts. National Federation of High Schools rules will be in effect.

TIES: If a game is tied at the end of regulation play, two 7 versus 7 sudden death ten minute periods will be played. The game will end upon the first goal scored in either period of play.  Substitutions are allowed during these periods.
The other team will have possession of the ball at the beginning of the second sudden death period, if it is required.

If the tie remains after completion of the sudden death periods, then strokes will be taken to determine the winner with five strikers per team. A coin toss will determine which team has the first stroke with the winner of the toss electing to shoot first or defend first. Each team shall alternate strokes and the winner will be the team with the most goals after all five strokes have been taken.

If the tie remains after completion of these strokes, the team will go into a sudden death stroke-off.  The same set of five strikers may take the strokes, but the order does not have to be the same. The first team awarded more goals than its opponent, after an equal number of stroke attempts, shall be the winner.

GAME BALLS: Home teams should provide game balls for tournament games.

ADMISSION:
Unless otherwise specified, admission for NCISAA play-off events is $5.00 per person. Children under the age of eight will be admitted free. 100% of gate receipts, after approved expenses, is due to the NCISAA.

RULES:  Unless otherwise specified, National High School Federation rules will be followed.
