SAFR SPORTS ANNOUNCED AS PROUD PARTNER OF THE NCISAA

CONCORD, NC – November 18, 2021 – The North Carolina Independent Schools Association (NCISAA) is pleased to announce SAFR Sports as a proud partner of the NCISAA.

“The NCISAA is excited to announce SAFR Sports as a new sponsor. Their support of our association, our member schools, and our student-athletes is very much appreciated,” said Homar Ramirez, Executive Director of the NCISAA.

SAFR Sports, a safety innovation company, is proud to partner with the NCISAA in a joint mission to increase the safety of student-athletes. SAFR’s ProTech helmet cover, worn by nearly 10,000 student-athletes, is scientifically proven to reduce concussive impacts by as much as 72%.

“At SAFR, we are continually pursuing new ways to improve sports safety through science, and our partnership with the NCISAA perfectly fits our mission to make contact sports safer,” said SAFR Sports’ co-founder John Ziglinski.  “We know that in the United States alone, nearly 4 million sports-related concussions occur annually.  While you can replace a knee or a hip, you can’t replace a brain,” added SAFR co-founder John Loughery.

About SAFR Sports

SAFR Sports is staffed by former football players and professionals, all of whom share the singular mission of making football and all contact sports safer through science. SAFR’s ProTech helmet cover, worn by nearly 300 college teams, high schools, and youth football leagues, has been proven to lower impact accelerations that reduce the adverse effects of repeated sub-concussive blows. Other important advantages of the ProTech include being approved for game-play by the National Federation of High Schools. In addition, the ProTech is custom-manufactured to model and size, and will match the color and finish of existing helmets. For a complete description of the ProTech and SAFR Sports, please visit safrsports.com.
